What are invisible hearing aids?
Invisible hearing aids, otherwise known as small or discreet hearing aids, sit inside your ear so that they are invisible to the naked eye.
Invisible or discreet hearing aids are the perfect hearing device for anybody with mild to moderate hearing loss. They also provide a solution for anybody who is image conscious and reluctant to wear an alternative model of hearing aid, as well as being a more practical solution for those who wear glasses or face masks.
These hearing aids are composed of a single plastic shell which houses the modern technology necessary to make these hearing aids highly effective. The rechargeable battery which powers the device is also stored within this shell and there are no external tubes or wires.
Depending on whether your chosen model of hearing aid is in stock, you might be able to have them fitted on the same day as your hearing test. If your hearing aids need to be ordered in, it can take up to five days for an open-fit or up to two weeks for a custom-made product.
What is the best small hearing aid?
One of the smallest invisible hearing aids is the invisible-in-the-canal (IIC) style. It fits completely inside the ear canal.
The Oticon Opn IIC is invisible in 8 out of 10 users' ears, offering excellent sound quality - without compromising on the latest digital technology.
