It’s that time of year again! Hidden Hearing are now searching nationwide for the everyday heroes in our lives that need to be recognised.

It’s time to celebrate the people who give up their time for the benefit of others, those who take care of family members who have fallen ill, or those who have overcome adversities to achieve the impossible without expecting anything in return.
Back for its twelfth year, the 2023 awards are open to everyone, young and old, from all walks of life, and with or without a hearing impairment.This year the awards welcome three new categories – the Diversity Award, the Sustainability Award and the Immigrant Hero Award.
The Diversity Award recognises those people supporting a more inclusive society, while the Sustainability Award will recognise support for social, environmental or economic programmes designed to achieve sustainable communities.
The Immigrant Hero Award is another exciting new category which has been created to celebrate and honour non-nationals living in Ireland who making a positive difference in their own community.
Other nomination categories include ‘Age Is No Barrier’, a Young Hero, ‘Triumph over Adversity’ Hero, Healthcare Hero and Charity Hero, with award categories also recognising those with Impaired Hearing, Family Heroes and a Sporting Hero.
So, if you know someone who quietly goes out of their way to do extraordinary things in their community, family, workplace or for a sports team or a charity, this is your chance to show them your appreciation by nominating them for a prestigious national award!

Entries are officially closed. The finalists will be celebrated at a very special glittering awards ceremony hosted by TV personality Mary Kennedy which will take place on Wednesday, 11th of October at the InterContinental Hotel in Dublin.
