Are you accessorising your hearing aid already? If not, you’re missing out! Here at Hidden Hearing, we’re impressed with the range of excellent accessories that are available to hearing aid wearers today, and we recommend exploring these to find out how you can get the most from your hearing aid.

Whether you’re adapting to life with hearing aids or you have been living with your devices for years, you’ll know how important it is to keep your hearing aids clean and dry, and how frustrating it is to mislay them! These essential accessories can help to minimise problems and make it easier to manage daily life with hearing loss.

Our Favourite Hearing Aid Accessories

Customers often ask us for recommendations, and we always try to help by finding the best options for you and your lifestyle. The following are often mentioned to us by customers who are pleased that they have discovered them!

  • Hearing aid case. Everyone is unique, and you may need to experiment with a few styles of hearing aid case to find out what works best for you. Hard cases offer a higher level of protection for your fragile devices, but soft pouch cases are easier to transport, especially if you are on holiday.
  • Hearing aid cleaning kit. Keeping your hearing aids clean is vital to ensure you get the best performance for them, and a hearing aid cleaning kit will keep everything you need in one place. Your audiology team can show you how to use different brushes and cleaning options to keep your hearing aids in great condition.
  • Hearing aid dehumidifier. A small dehumidifier for hearing aids is designed to dry your hearing aids thoroughly and remove moisture and condensation. This is a very useful item that can be used daily, and this will help to extend the life of your hearing aids, too.
  • Hearing aid vacuum cleaner. Talk to your audiologist about whether a hearing aid vacuum cleaner could help you to give your hearing aids a thorough clean. This can be very helpful when you are travelling away from home, and can help to maintain your hearing aids and prevent damage during the cleaning process as well.
