Hidden Hearing's expert audiologists are continually trained in the latest advancements in modern hearing care technology. During your appointment, one of our experts will assess your hearing and if a hearing loss is diagnosed will prescribe a personalised hearing aid for you.

All of our hearing aid audiologists are fully trained to the latest hearing care industry standards, adhering to standards of proficiency, education and training while following the guidelines of clinical best practice provided by the BSA (British Society of Audiologists) , BSHAA (British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologist) , ISHAA (Irish Society of Hearing aid Audiologists) and HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) .

In Ireland all our hearing care experts are required to meet the same high standards aspiring to a formally recognised foundation degree in Audiology. 

Our aim is to provide a patient centric approach, that takes in to account the individual needs of each patient, so all our hearing care experts are committed to their ongoing and continual professional development (CPD). Sarah Sheehan - Chief Audiologist at Hidden Hearing Ltd

Sarah Sheehan is an esteemed member of our Learning and Development team who joined Hidden Hearing in 2018 as an audiologist. Sarah’s career has seen her work in a wide range of areas within the company and she is committed to providing education about audiology and keeping abreast of current audiology trends.

Audiology standards and the delivery of service care have gone through a paradigm shift in recent years. As technology continues to grow, the team at Hidden Hearing are building and nurturing centres of excellence.

“We want a patient-centric approach where we encourage multidisciplinary approaches to hearing healthcare to ensure the best outcome of support for our patients,” says Sarah.

I have been working with Hidden Hearing for many years. We provide a professional, expert service, treating patients with dignity and respect. I hold a BC-HIS Dip HAA, and as a practising audiologist, I keep up to date with the latest practices, research, and innovations. Audiology is about making long-term connections with patients, building relationships and trust. Sandra Cassidy - Customer Services Manager

Sandra Cassidy joined the Hidden Hearing Customer Services Team in 2002 as a repair and Customer Services Representative. In 2006 she was appointed Customer Services Manager.

On the day of your test, a friend or family member is recommended to come along with you.




You will be greeted in the reception by one of our friendly clinic coordinators, who will ask you to sanitise your hands and sign in. 




You will be asked the following questions:


  • Have you tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 7 days?
  • Are you waiting for a COVID-19 test or the results?
  • Do you have any of the following symptoms:


New, continuous cough, high temperature or fever, loss of, or change in sense of smell or taste?


  • Do you live with someone who has either tested positive for COVID-19 or had symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 14 days?



You will then meet your audiologist, who will bring you through to our consultation room to complete your free hearing assessment.

To complete your free hearing assessment. Your audiologist will begin by asking you about your medical history in order to find out more about your hearing concerns and lifestyle factors.


Audiologist talks with the customer and starts the physical ear exam and hearing test.


Your audiologist will also conduct a physical ear exam of your ears.


Zoom in on the results of the hearing test.



Your audiologist will make a recommendation based on these results.


Audiologist finishes the consultation.



If there is hearing loss detected, we will assist you in choosing the best hearing aid solution to suit your needs.
