Board of Directors
Stephen Leddy, Managing Director
Stephen Leddy qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1995 and worked in the retail sector before joining Hidden Hearing in 2000 as Financial Controller.
He implemented a new CRM system and an analytical review of the company's business process, immediately reducing the cost base and increasing productivity.
Stephen Leddy also set up the Northern Ireland subsidiary which now employs 15 people.
He was subsequently appointed Managing Director in 2002, at the age of 32, and implemented strategic changes to the retail business structure and corporate culture resulting in significant organic growth and profitability, year on year.
New revenue streams with synergistic partners, and protocols ensuring consistent professionalism and standards, has supported Hidden Hearing’s brand and commercial values.
His focus on developing Hidden Hearing's market vision, core value set, unique selling position and brand essence has positioned the company as market leader in the hearing healthcare sector in Ireland.

Dolores Madden, Marketing Director
Dolores Madden is Marketing Director for Hidden Hearing Ireland, overseeing patient acquisition and retention programmes and developing advertising, PR, branding, direct mail, events and database marketing campaigns.
Dolores has been a leading figure in the hearing healthcare sector for the past 27 years, having first qualified as an accountant technician (MIATI) and then studying audiology and qualifying as an Audiologist (ISHAA, MSHAA) in 2002.
She has worked across all aspects of the business within Hidden Hearing, serving as Operations Manager for 4 years. For six years she was Branch Manager/Senior Audiologist for the Cork Branch, and Team Leader for six audiologists in the Southern Region.
With extensive experience across several departments and an unrivalled brand insight, Dolores took up the role of National Marketing Manager in 2001.She developed the Hidden Hearing GP Clinic initiative, inviting GPs across the island of Ireland to locate a hearing clinic within their practice, which now includes over 40 GP Clinics nationwide.
A leading media commentator on hearing loss issues, Dolores Madden planned and implemented Hearing Awareness Week. Running since 2007, this annual event has significantly raised the issue of hearing loss on Ireland’s health agenda.
She also launched the Hidden Hearing Heroes awards scheme in 2011, a CSR initiative to recognise unsung heroes in communities across Ireland.
Having created a new Hidden Hearing website in 2010, Dolores manages strong online marketing and social media, growing website traffic substantially and winning awards for digital and social media. She qualified with the Marketing Institute of Ireland on Digital Marketing (MMII).
Dolores is a member of the global committee of William Demant Holding. In 2015 they developed the global brand of their retail group, Audika, across 9 countries. Her mission is to make hearing health a priority for everyone and to provide hearing care solutions that are cutting edge as she believes that only the best is good enough for our customers. We are experts in hearing that guide our customers to the best choice with no compromise.
In 2017, Dolores Madden organised the Irish-owned company’s membership of Healthy Ireland, the national framework for action to improve the health and wellbeing of people living in Ireland. Globally, she developed the ‘Campaign For Better Hearing’ with 6 other countries within William Demant Holding , once again to unify the message that ‘life is worth hearing’.

Ken Viney is Sales Director of Hidden Hearing, having first joined the company as Manager of Northern Ireland in 1994.
Over the past sixteen years, Ken has played a pivotal role in successfully growing Hidden Hearing to become Ireland’s premier hearing healthcare company, with over 30,000 customers and 82 branches and clinics nationwide.
Ken introduced advanced training of dispensing staff, ensuring increased productivity, together with successful recruitment campaigns and ongoing professional development.
As a Registered Hearing Aid Dispenser, Ken’s experience and extensive sector knowledge has helped shape Hidden Hearing’s customer-focused ethos. The business is the only hearing healthcare provider in Ireland offering a nationwide service, a 90 day money-back guarantee, a 4 year warranty, and a lifetime of free aftercare service to customers.
Mr Ivor Lewis, Senior Hearing Aid Audiologist with Hidden Hearing has been an audiologist for nearly 20 years and is highly recognised as a conscientious and caring professional. Ivor has been with Hidden Hearing since 1995 and took control of the Cashel branch in 2011. This branch is now recognised as a Centre of Excellence for Hearing Care in Ireland.
As a fully qualified Fellowship member of both the British, and the Irish Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists, he has years of advanced training both locally and nationally.

Noel Cullen (FISHAA, FSHAA, MIHS)
Noel Cullen has been the Senior Hearing Aid Audiologist in Abbey Street for 21 years. During this time Noel has cared for and successfully helped thousands of people with mild, moderate and profound hearing problems. Noel also has experience helping those with tinnitus, vertigo and others with medical related hearing loss. As a fully qualified fellowship member of both the British and the Irish Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists, he has years of advanced training both locally and nationally.
His knowledge in communication disorders has helped a wide range of patients, including both adults and children with hearing loss. He provides screenings, hearing tests, aural rehabilitation and has an extensive knowledge of both conventional and digital hearing instruments.

Mr Jim Fulham, Senior Hearing Aid Audiologist with Hidden Hearing, has been an audiologist for the past 30 years and is highly recognised as a conscientious and caring professional. Jim has been with Hidden Hearing since 2000 and took control of the Cavan Branch in 2013. This Branch is now recognised as a Centre of Excellence for Hearing Care in Ireland.

Ms Yvonne Doyle, Senior Hearing Aid Audiologist has been working with Hidden Hearing since 2011. Since joining Hidden Hearing, her Wexford Branch is recognised as a Centre of Excellence for hearing care in Ireland.
Ms Doyle won the 2017 'Irish Audiologist of the Year. The competition is organised by leading hearing aid battery manufacturer Rayovac, a division of Spectrum Brands Holdings Inc., who this year welcomed a new sponsor, The European Federation of Hard of Hearing People (EFHOH), on board, joining longstanding partners Audio Infos, and the European Hearing Instrument Manufacturers Association (EHIMA). The competition relies on nominations from patients who have experienced exceptional care from their audiologist.
Yvonne Doyle was nominated by Robin, her patient who had suffered from hearing loss all his life. Robin describes how socialising was difficult because of crowd noise and he wasn’t able to listen to the radio and the classical music he used to love.

Mr. Enda Dooley, Senior Hearing Aid Audiologist DipHE HAA Q.M.U. has been with Hidden Hearing since 2010 and is based in our Merrion Road, Ballsbridge branch.
Mr Dooley was 1 of only 3 Audiologists in Ireland who were awarded a “Certificate of Commendation” in the Audiologist of the year competition in 2014 as well as uniquely winning the same “Certificate of Commendation Award” (again 1 of only 3) in the “Audiologist of the year” competition in 2016 & 2017.
