My name is Rebecca. My grandfather inspired me to pursue a career in Audiology. His hearing loss happened gradually and went undiagnosed for a significant period. When he reached the point where he could no longer hear us, he withdrew from the conversation. Recognising that hearing loss was to blame, he finally sought help, and hearing aids transformed his life for the better.

Hidden Hearing genuinely cares for patients and is committed to improving lives and giving back to local communities. It is a business with a genuine purpose.

My favourite patients were a couple, aged 86 and 90. They were both in need of some help. It’s incredible to witness a relationship that stands the test of time and a couple so united and in pursuit of better health. Treating them brought us immense joy. It was gratifying to know that our work will help them to hear each other and the world around them for years to come.

My simple advice to everyone is - get a hearing test as soon as you notice any changes - it's free, and there are multiple benefits to positive hearing health. One of the most important studies out there claims that hearing loss is the highest modifiable risk factor for early-onset dementia. Protect the Hearing you have as soon as you can!

My name is Robin, I am naturally fascinated by Hearing and the phenomenon of sound, and I wanted to pursue a career that satisfies my curiosity and supports my passion. Looking after patients' health needs was always been my priority as I arrived from the medical sector.

I want to make a positive difference, helping people overcome the stigmas and challenges of hearing loss. Hearing loss affects the individual, their family, and friends, stressing relationships. I'm committed to assisting patients in coming to terms with their diagnosis and taking control of their loss in a timely manner. Early intervention can prevent withdrawal, isolation, depression, and many other adverse effects of hearing loss. I feel incredibly privileged to be in a position to help my patients here at Hidden Hearing.

I strongly suggest you don't delay treatment for hearing loss. Timely intervention enables effective treatment to improve long-term hearing ability by preventing or slowing further decline—moreover, the cost of hearing aids increases as hearing declines. If you look after yourself, you look after those close to you.
