My name is Noel Doherty, and I am an audiologist with Hidden Hearing, now working in the Waterford clinic. I have been with Hidden Hearing for five years, having previously been based in the Wexford clinic.

I come from a background where many of my close relatives work in the healthcare sector, and I have always been passionate about helping others. What drew me to Hidden Hearing was the company’s ethos of helping people hear better and improving their quality of life through advanced hearing technology.

In my role, I am focused on supporting patients through their hearing journey and helping them achieve meaningful improvements in both hearing and confidence. It is especially rewarding to see the difference this can make in everyday life and social situations.

My name is Susie Keating, and I work with Hidden Hearing in Waterford. I originally joined the Hidden Hearing team with a background in telecommunications and customer service, and I quickly developed a strong interest in hearing healthcare. Having had issues with my own ears as a child, there has always been a personal curiosity, and I continue to learn and grow in this area.

In May 2025, I completed an ear wax removal training course and became certified. I now provide ear wax removal services in the clinic Monday to Friday. It is very rewarding to be able to support patients and see the relief and improvement it brings to their wellbeing.

I enjoy meeting and welcoming both new and existing patients. I like speaking with people about their hearing, carrying out wax screenings, and helping guide them towards the right next step, whether that is wax removal or a hearing test.

I always aim to create a friendly and welcoming environment. There is no such thing as a silly question, and I am always here to help.

It is important not to ignore changes in hearing. Early intervention makes a real difference, and I encourage people to have their hearing checked regularly so we can support them in taking the right steps together.
