My name is Stephen Redmond, and I work with Hidden Hearing in Wexford. What motivates me every day is meeting people, understanding the impact hearing loss has on their lives, and helping them hear the world around them again. Knowing that what I do is making a difference, regardless of how big or small, is what inspires me to come to work each day. Having family members who distanced themselves from the things they loved because they struggled to take part in conversations helped me understand the life changing impact hearing care can have. Seeing those challenges first hand led me into the role I am in today.
Before joining Hidden Hearing, I spent over 10 years working in face to face customer and patient focused roles. The part of my role I enjoy most is seeing patients return just a few weeks after taking the next step on their hearing journey. Watching the joy and confidence that better hearing brings gives me a real sense of fulfilment and reassures me that I am making a difference.
I believe every hearing journey is unique. By taking the time to understand each person's needs, I can provide care that is tailored to them.
