Singing superstar Daniel O’Donnell is inviting fans in the sunny south east for a meet and greet to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Hidden Hearing’s state-of-the-art clinic at 2, Redmond Square in Wexford town this Monday, August 12 at 1pm.
The country music legend is dropping by the premises ahead of his second and final show at the Wexford Opera House.
Daniel will be welcomed by the all-female team at Hidden Hearing’s Wexford clinic, with Patricia Boyce on reception, working alongside leading audiologists Yvonne Doyle currently Irish Audiologist of The Year and Grace Kelly.
The HSE estimates there are as many as 300,000 people in Ireland with significant hearing loss. Statistically, over half the population aged between 60 and 80 are likely to have measurable hearing loss.
“As a professional musician, I am acutely aware of the importance of looking after my hearing,” says Daniel, who is a proud supporter of Hidden Hearing’s Campaign For Better Hearing, encouraging Irish people to “test their ears at 50 years”.
He adds: “I am really looking forward to meeting my Wexford fans at the Hidden Hearing Clinic for a chat and a slice of cake. Then it’s back to work at the Opera House!”
Wexford’s Deputy Lord Mayor Maura Bell will also be in attendance on Monday, August 12 to celebrate Hidden Hearing’s 10 year milestone.
