Ms Yvonne Doyle, Senior Hearing Aid Audiologist has been working with Hidden Hearing since 2011. Since joining Hidden Hearing, her Wexford Branch is recognised as a Centre of Excellence for hearing care in Ireland.

Ms Doyle won the 2017 'Irish Audiologist of the Year. 1. How long have you been working with Hidden Hearing ?
3 years.

I have a medical background, I was always interested in the hearing healthcare space. Being given the opportunity to take care of peoples hearing needs is satisfying.

3. What’s a typical day like for you?
Providing consultations and hearing care in the Drogheda Medical Centre and Dundalk Hidden Hearing Centre.

4. What excites you about your job?
I get great satisfaction from helping people to improve their quality of life by providing the most suitable hearing solution. It’s very rewarding to get positive feedback and dealing with challenging cases motivates me to learn more about current technologies and the dynamics of people’s needs.

5. What do you like about Hidden Hearing?
The ongoing care of their patients. The continuous training and development I receive from Hidden Hearing is second to none.

6. What advice would you give to someone who is reluctant to get a hearing test?
We listen to your needs, we are friendly audiologists, and you can totally relax in our consultation so don’t be afraid to monitor your hearing as it is a crucial part of your overall well-being.

7. What hobbies do you enjoy outside of the day job?
I love singing, I joined a local church folk group last summer and I play the piano when I have free time. I also do horse riding once a week as I feel great and energised after. I speak 6 languages, so learning a new one always giving me a great satisfaction.
